What it does
- File Sharing: send photos, videos, documents, contacts, and (on Android) installed apps directly to nearby devices over the same Wi-Fi network. No upload, no size limits from a server, no sign-up.
- Music Sync: one person picks the music, everyone in the group hears it together, perfectly in time, like a shared speaker across every phone in the room.
- Group Chat: talk to everyone in your group in real time, with replies, emoji reactions, typing indicators and read receipts. Messages are never saved and disappear when the session ends.
How it works
Open QuickieCon, pick a feature, and either create a group or join one nearby (via auto-discovery or a QR scan). Everyone on the same Wi-Fi network connects directly, device-to-device. Nothing passes through a server, and nothing is uploaded anywhere.
Why local-first
Your files, your music and your conversations stay between your devices. Because QuickieCon doesn't rely on the cloud, it works anywhere you have a shared Wi-Fi network, with no signal, no data plan and no accounts required.
Platforms
QuickieCon is available on Android and iOS, with desktop support (Windows/macOS/Linux) for file sharing.
